
Manage local users and users created via external identity-providers (LDAP/SAML).

Add a local user

When adding a local user, start by entering a username and password, then click at the bottom of the page (to stay on the page, otherwise choose another save option). After the user is added, more options become available, see edit user.
Edit a user

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Username | Required. 150 characters or fewer. Letters, digits and @/./+/-/_ only. |
| Password | Raw passwords are not stored. |
| First name | The user’s first name. |
| Last name | The user’s last name. |
| Email address | The user’s email address. |
| Active | Whether the account is active. Unselect this instead of deleting an account. |
| Staff-status | Displays if, and how, the user has Staff-status (admin). |
| Superuser-status | Displays if, and how, the user has Superuser-status. |
| Groups | Manage which group(s) the user should have access to. This handles the users’ permissions; read more under groups. Group membership may be overwritten by LDAP/SAML mappings configured elsewhere. |
| Last login | When the user last signed in. |
| Date joined | When the account was created. |
Customer permissions

Select what customer(s) the user should have access to.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer | Select a customer. |
| Auto granted at | Displays when (if) the user was automatically granted access to a customer. |
| Delete | Check the checkbox and click to remove access to that customer. |
| Add another Customer permission | Add access to another customer. |
