Manage local users and users created via external identity-providers (LDAP/SAML).

Add a local user

When adding a local user, start by entering a username and password, then click Save and continue editing at the bottom of the page (to stay on the page, otherwise choose another save option). After the user is added, more options become available, see edit user.

Edit a user

FieldDescription
UsernameRequired. 150 characters or fewer. Letters, digits and @/./+/-/_ only.
PasswordRaw passwords are not stored.
First nameThe user’s first name.
Last nameThe user’s last name.
Email addressThe user’s email address.
ActiveWhether the account is active. Unselect this instead of deleting an account.
Staff-statusDisplays if, and how, the user has Staff-status (admin).
Superuser-statusDisplays if, and how, the user has Superuser-status.
GroupsManage which group(s) the user should have access to. This handles the users’ permissions; read more under groups. Group membership may be overwritten by LDAP/SAML mappings configured elsewhere.
Last loginWhen the user last signed in.
Date joinedWhen the account was created.

Customer permissions

Select what customer(s) the user should have access to.

OptionDescription
CustomerSelect a customer.
Auto granted atDisplays when (if) the user was automatically granted access to a customer.
DeleteCheck the checkbox and click Save to remove access to that customer.
Add another Customer permissionAdd access to another customer.
